Jared Cannata wasn’t born with a guitar in his hand but he might as well have been. Jared was born into a world of cranked stereos that were always playing music and began playing guitar by the age of 10. With a vast group of influences ranging from Joe Satriani, to Stevie Ray Vaughn, to Jerry Cantrell, and his 20+ years of study (including his time spent at Berklee College of Music), Jared has developed his own unique style of play.
Jared is a member of the band Stereo Satellite which also features Lukas Rossi (Rockstar Supernova), Jordan Cannata (Adrenaline Mob), and Erik Leonhardt (Tantric). Stereo Satellite’s live debut was on the 2018 Shiprocked Cruise with bands such as Stone Sour, In This Moment, Seether, Black Label Society, and many more. Shortly after, the band had the honor of opening for Bon Jovi at the BMO Harris Bradley Arena in Milwaukee, WI. Stereo Satellite is currently recording their debut album which will be available later this year.
Previously, Jared’s band J.Rad had the opportunity to share the stage with many artists such as Scott Stapp (Creed), Twisted Sister, Living Colour, Bret Michaels (Poison), Vince Neil (Motley Crue), Mountain, Joe Bonamassa, Otherwise, Yngwie Malmsteen, Blue Oyster Cult, Asia, Stryper, Johnny Winter, Rick Derringer, Filter, Zach Myers (Shinedown), George Lynch, Gilby Clarke (Guns n Roses), and many more. With J.Rad, Jared has also recorded 3 albums. 2 of which were produced by Grammy nominated engineer/producer David Ivory (The Roots, Halestorm, Eryka Baddu, Silvertide).
Jared is also a member of Billy Mira & The Hitmen, and Americana Big Band infused with comedy and impressions that performs in theaters across the tristate area.
